A rubbish blip for a rubbish day

To get a shadow, you first need light, something that has been lacking all day. That means no MonoMonday blip.
The Old Vacuum Cleaner Saga reached its conclusion this morning, it's now in pieces and waiting to go to the tip. It would have been repairable (again) but parts of the plastic body were more glue than plastic, it just wasn't worth the effort.
A walk into town this afternoon, we, ie  Redilady, bought a few Christmas cards and then we came home. At least we had a bit of exercise.
I just enquired about lunch at one of our favourite pubs, completely forgetting that it was just over the county border and in Tier three.
