The day started colder, and the forecast promised deteriorating weather.

This was the day to post our Colon Cancer tests back to Ninewells. This technology has changed dramatically over the years, thank goodness and is very easy to use.

My father died from the disease when he was 56 some 48 years ago.

Ever since then I have been checked regularly, and so far so good. (20 times to date).

It is a subject that many people do not like to talk about, but taking part could save your life.

It certainly saved the life of Mrs Dog a few years back when her test flagged up an abnormality.
