Late afternoon light

Its been a surprisingly sunny day today but very cold.  It was 2C as I set off for an early morning sprint class at the gym.  As its only a short class I was back home just after our grandson was having his first morning nap.  We had planned on visiting a soft play area with him this afternoon but didn't manage to make it as he only had a very short nap and then caught his finger in a toy so we decided to save the visit for another day.  

We managed to get out for a short stroll along the beach just before sunset and enjoyed the lovely colours as the sun gradually set.  The Christmas lights had just been put up, by local volunteers I think, which was nice to see.
