Catching a few afternoon rays.

It has been glorious weather today with bright sunshine. We had our chimney swept this morning and it was warm enough when the sun was out to keep the doors open for most of the morning so the house has had a good freshening up. It was lovely to sit working with the patio doors open to the garden and be able to hear the birds chatting as I worked. 
This afternoon I had a walk to the beach with my daughter and we saw my old friend again enjoying the sunshine - so sorry it's a bit repetitive but I couldn't resist.
