This ring has been on my finger for 35 years, 4 months, and two days. The last 25 or so I’ve been unable to take it off. Until, this morning.

I grew up a very skinny child. Count my ribs skinny. And the two times when i added to my weight were when I got married, and when I became a pastor. I expect that was about the time my ring became a part of me.

My weight has been pretty much the same for all these years since. Until the past year. My weight has been dropping now due to some of there meds I’m on.

So today I was working in the garage puttering around. I grabbed my ring and off it came. Huh, go figure. I was surprised.

So I took some pictures, showed Lauralea, and put it back on for the next 25 years.
