Smoke on the Water

I thought a field was aflame, but really, the river was just hot. This is the water discharge of a nuclear power plant. What a shame all that hot water couldn't go to some public use instead of unnaturally warming a winter ecosystem. The steam was quickly condensing and freezing on the grass at the other side of the river. Beautiful, yet sad.
