Kirkstone Pass

Thanks for all the lovely comments on yesterday's blip.  Today the weather took a turn for the worse with very low cloud and driving rain at home.  We drove over to Booths at Ulverston to get some shopping and then took a ride up to Ambleside.  From there I drove up the Struggle to Kirkstone to see what the snow conditions were like.  The cloud lifted a little but much of the snow had been washed away by the heavy overnight rain and that which remained was a bit messy.
