My lovely friend ROS sent me this image that she found recently of her mother, taken when she was in her 20's. I love these old photographs.

I used to visit Barbara in the care home, she had the letters LGSM after her name Licentiate of the guildhall school of music, she taught piano. 


In other news, there's been a drop in temperature 'brrr' my decking was frozen last night and very slippery. I switched the electric blanket on early and heated up the bed then snuggled into the warmth and watched a film. It's quite windy today with strong North-Westerlies and showers of rain, very grey and overcast where staying indoors is much more appealing, however, a bracing walk along the beach with my big warm coat and hat on before the dark sets in will do me the power of good, she says to herself unconvincingly.
