Its Beginning to Look a Bit Like Christmas........

The sun shone today, so we worked in the garden.  Decided not to blip the weed suppressing membrane that has been the centre of my life today, so the Christmas Tree in our lounge will make its first appearance (of many - who knows).
Got the ‘convocation’ (invitation) to my French exam for citizenship today.  Exam next week.  I have been tested multiple times previously and have been assessed as ‘interpreter’ level by the French Military Academy (Ecole Militaire) in Paris.  It appears that is not enough for the fonctionnaire in the local prefecture who wants me to take the exam in a local test centre at the price of 150 euros.  Oh well, whatever it takes - them’s the rules.
Ageing parents and aunts in the UK now waiting for their appointment for the COVID jab.  Things are starting to move..... Onwards and upwards.
