Strange weather phenomena

The water dripping off the branches had formed ice droplets and mini icicles this morning.  It looked wonderful!  We then later watched it 'raining' only underneath the large yew tree in the garden as it melted which was a very strange sight...

Christmas plans are starting to fall into place with the return of son #3 tomorrow - excited!  Martin is going to collect him from Brighton.
