Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris)
A very busy day tackling some jobs round home which have been neglected for a while. Fortunately the squirrels were very active. We had at least four visits during the day. Currently we can identify two individuals. One is this dark individual who isn't "dark tail" from earlier in the year as the body is too dark. The other is "fish tail" so called because the hair missing from the end of the tail makes it split like a fish tail, particularly if seem from directly behind or infront.
