Geese On The Move

A lovely walk in bright sunshine at Holyfield Farm this afternoon. A birder pointed out a peregrine falcon perched on top of a distant pylon to me. I got a shot but it was a dot. 

Ollie and I stood and watched as skein after skein of geese flew into one of the fields. Another birder told me that there were a few white-fronted geese all the way from Russia amongst them.

I've added a greylag to extras which is unfortunately missing a foot. :(
