Winding Down

Socks (aka Little Boy) will be 17 in a couple of weeks and is definitely showing signs of old age.  He has lost approximately 4 pounds over the last six months and is definitely on the fragile side.  He just had his checkup at the vet and seems to be in overall good health except that they cannot explain the weight loss (not Thyroid).  Of course they want to run thousands of dollars of tests on him and we politely declined and said that as long as he is happy, we will let him be.  

The good news is that he seems happy, now hangs out in the same room as the dogs (he hid from them for years), and has a great appetite.
