after a brief hiatus - this particular christmas cactus - has resumed blooming for me - it skipped flowering the - past 2 years after - being flooded and exposed - to an experience with insulation debris - quite traumatic all around - and honestly i didn’t know - if it would recover - for some time it appeared - very forlorn and spindly - i wasn’t holding out hope - but then about a month ago - i began what i call - the plant shuffle

i just randomly began moving - all my plants around - a simple shifting of them - for many this didn’t make a difference - but for a few - it was like a major explosion - occurred in their depths - and suddenly new growth - began appearing with tiny - sprouts shooting up overnight - and like with this cactus - suddenly buds burst forth - and i had blooms again - and there was pink, making it...
