Wollaton Wonderland

We got into the Christmas spirit today by going to the light show at Nottingham's Wollaton Hall and how wonderful it was. Well controlled timed entrance, masks and distancing patrolled by marshalls. An enchanting walkway through the gardens floodlight with all kinds of lights from soft twinkly to laser and even a lawn with fire torches. However the grand hall, best known for the batman movie, the Dark Knight Rises, was the spectacular highlight with its light show to music.
In the morning the festive mood kicked off at our annual Turkey Shoot golf club competition, a little different this year as we weren't able to get together in the clubhouse at the end for prize giving. A very respectable 40 stableford points for me but 43 won. There's always next year.
Pics again look far better large.
