The Swedish Races

Fiona Tuesday.   A longer race today using the little figures.  Bombed a bit by Jasper the cat.   I’m glad Fiona’s  still a kid and makes up stories about the families…the 2 in her left hand are 7 yo brother and sister twins who have a younger sister, 5 and another set of twins, 3?  One of their Moms got left at our house to take a break from all those kids..( I did not realize this!) their other Mom works.  These two argue all the time but did well in the race!    Then some reading in our book….an extra chapter to leave us “hanging” in a good place til next week.   Then a rousing singing of  the Twelve days of Christmas..(after looking up a few)… Then Fiona got one of her You Tube favorites who had a Twelve days of Quarantine version,  not so sweet actually.  Instead of Five-gold-en-rings, it’s An-xi-e-ty!    Her t shirt says “it’s beginning to look a lot like ….Sithmas” (?)
She’s been baking a lot and showed us how good her latest oreos and cream cheese balls dipped in white chocolate and decorated as a snowman was.   She’s managing, and makes sure we know that everyone in the family will have had a quarantine birthday.    Just makes you wonder how they will remember this year….


Extra:  a 5 minute break in my good webinar today about different ways to fiddle with color in Lightroom.    the instructor is in Belgium…it was nighttime there…
