... from my morning trip to Knaresborough Market, for its unusual content.

I'm not referring to the lady wearing a hat or, for that matter, that she is wearing two Covid masks. I wasn't surprised by the fact she was also wearing a plastic glove.

The really unusual feature was that I came across someone actually using real money to buy something. There was this rarely seen item a ten pound note. I can't remember the last time I used one, mainly because retailers are keen not to handle money and prefer card payments.
