Parliamentary Estate
Trapped inside for the whole of the day, I took this out of the window of Committee Room 2 which is on the top floor of the....well, building. Except as you can see 'buildings' would be the better word. They are all conjoined or linked in some way, but really the Parliament is a collection of buildings, including the one that the architect Miralles didn't want to keep but was told he had to. That's the old cream coloured red-roofed Queensberry House building which reputedly has an actual ghost though none of us has ever seen it.
The building on the left is the Members' block but as you can see, the famous windows are not on this side of the building. What you are seeing there are the corridor windows.
And of course, the upturned 'boats' which make up the roof of the Garden Lobby, this time seen from a different angle.
