Nintendo
Was rooting around in the cupboard and game across this.
A big grey slab of memories. I think I must have got this when I was 6 or 7.
There is something very analog that I find refreshing. I'm drawn to the physicality of it. Changing the contrast with the little dial feels like you are moving cogs on a machine. Maybe it's nostalgia but there is a emotional attachment you feel playing on this giant brick that you don't get on the slick high-powered smartphones. As soon as the soundtrack for Tetris comes on, I'm engrossed.
It's more than 20 years old but still runs without fault.
I have iPhones sitting in drawers from 3 years ago that barely work.
