The House on the Hill

Out for a walk from Ilam in the Staffordshire Peak District, along the Manifold Valley and Trail before a return leg around Wetton Hill and Casterne Hall.  This stood out as eye catching on a couple of fronts; first its position on the rise above Wetton Village and then the interesting cirrus cloud formations that were around most of the day,

In the end a 12 mile walk, topped off by a sausage roll from the cafe (take-away) at Ilam Hall.
