Nights in White Satin
by Larkin Poe
My wife drives to ride Icelandic horses every week. The last months she always drives in the dark as the darkness begins now around 16:00. And I am quite worried as a) people tend to fall off horses, and b) driving in the dark is risky especially due to elks and deer moving across roads at those hours. When she returned to the cottage I was ready and took a shot of her approach by my phone. Perhaps the headlight beams are similar to white satin covering the oak trunks. As it is I quite like this cover of the Moody Blues classic.
