New York Sunset

It rained heavily most of the day today so I didn’t stray far from my hotel room. In fact, after waking up at 4am (nothing unusual with jet-lag!), I went back to sleep half way through the morning and slept another 90 minutes. It felt wonderful!

After a late breakfast in the hotel, the clouds finally cleared and the sun came out. I ran one errand near the hotel and then walked around for about half an hour before getting ready to go back to the airport. This picture was taken just after 4pm from my hotel room.

The hotel is and old classic New York hotel and I was staying high up on the 32nd floor. There are some beautiful decorative features in the architecture. See Extra photo.
