Flexi day today to help our daughter out with childcare.

Popped into town this morning, haven’t been in for months, last few bits of Christmas shopping. Not as successful as I wanted, but I guess my heart wasn’t fully in it. :)

After lunch went over to our daughters to collect Austin and bring him back to ours for a few hours - he fell asleep in the buggy on the way back, giving me time to deliver Christmas cards to the neighbours. He was a little unsure when he woke up - where was mummy and I’m in a house I’m not to sure of (although 9 months old, with the COVID situation and my daughter being on maternity leave, we haven’t socialised much in each other’s houses). He was intrigued by the Christmas decorations and grandad introduced him to the piano - he wasn’t sure. We sang nursery rhymes/Christmas tunes going home and he gave his mummy a beaming smile once home :)
