Doorway Señorita

The gifts acquired in Seville by Barrioboy and Digitaldaze are now in the hands (and on the heads) they were intended for. Gratitude all around. (Extra: the two of them.)

In delivering the gifts, I got a doorway visit and a brief walk with the family and a chance to hear the latest news. My son, a sound engineer for large concerts, has good news: the artist he works for will pay the crew a bit more than a quarter of their usual salary "until the pandemic ends." (Cue sound of relief; it is enough to get by on, and they can depend on it till concerts begin again.) Bella has been experimenting with sounds and songs on her violin. Evan is drawing amazing pictures and even made an instruction video for his kindergarten class on "how to draw a scared squirrel." Felix is increasingly responsive to commands. Cristina had a chance for some peace and quiet while the rest of us walked around the block. It was wonderful to see them in person.
