Such beautiful silhouettes!!!

I have driven up to Havelock today. I have a week's photography in the Sounds. How lucky am I ?? It's been booked for a long time so look forward to being pushed out of my comfort zone. We have a guest photographer- Freeman Patterson, a Canadian of incredible skill. Hopefully I can blip while in the sounds, otherwise I will catch up next Saturday... These dead trees always have fascinated me. They are on the main road north of Cheviot. There is a whole paddock of them. I think they are quite beautiful!!!
A very grey day for Christchurch remembering the 2nd anniversary of the earthquake. I am especially remembering my good friend Stephen who died that day. He was a great landscape photographer, we shared many trips away
