Just posing

I’ve had the most magnificent morning.

Three kingfishers, separately, posed for photos for about twenty minutes. 

This one is a young male, born this year, and revelling in the attention. There were about a dozen of us, with phones and cameras of various sizes, just enjoying their display. 

The adult male was around first. Then Mrs Twiggy arrived, and later the young male put in an appearance. 

The Wolseley Centre, in Rugeley, Staffordshire, is wonderful (and free). 

I’m glad I’ve space for a couple of extras.
