So happy to meet this guy

I was in Appleby for an eye test - super organised, super careful, super thorough.

On our way out of the village we came across two openreach guys and had to stop. They were measuring up for the laying of our fibre broadband connection, so we were very pleased to see something happening. It's only a start, but at least we know it is definitely going ahead. These two (second with the trundle wheel in extras) told us they were working out how to do the job without having to close the road too much, as road closures delay the work. On parts of the road that are too narrow, they are trying to go in to the fields, but first have to find out who owns the land. We are getting full fibre to every property, so it should be super fast. We are willing the work on. It may be documented in these pages.
