It hasn't got light today. Himself has been wrestling with skirting boards and making, yes making, boxes to contain large chunks of Christmas cake which are being sent out to members of the family who won't be coming over this year. I am most impressed with the box making for I remember being scarred when Design & Technology came into the curriculum- not my strong points. Making boxes was one of the delights I was meant to do with my jolly group of 7 and 8 years olds.  Nets too. Nightmare, for I am unable to draw or cut a straight line and just have to look at a craft knife and I get slashed. And I can never find the end of the sellotape. Luckily I had a young man in my class, Sam, who was brilliant at this sort of thing and who was always brought to the fore to demonstrate. Boxes were especially popular at Christmas - copious amounts of sellotape, PVA glue and glitter being consumed. Oh well.

Oh well - Fleetwood Mac moment whilst washing up. Blame lockdown.
