The Birthday Girl

It was birthday celebrations for Lady Marian today. We normally use these occasions to push the boat out and go somewhere special for a meal. On my pre-covid birthday we went to Rick Stein's in Padstow as we were staying in Cornwall at the time. Today it seemed much more sensible to stay local so we went out for lunch in the village. It was a perfectly nice meal but she now has a virtual credit note for another time when things are a little more settled.

One of the presents she got was a slow puncture so we had to take her car in to the tyre guys and leave it there until the lunchtime drinks had been metabolised so we could pick it up.
