Coming slowly over the old military road from Inverary this afternoon under convoy, as part of the main A83 road above has been avalanched away.
An unwordly sort of day.
The words Rest & Be Thankful was inscribed on a stone at the top of the pass in 1753 by soldiers who built the military road.
