Choosen Pottery.

After a walk on Taylor Beach, Morgan and I were driving thro Metchson and to my great surprise the pottery of the famous Robin Hopper was open!   Robin died 3 years ago - he was an internationally known potter and artist....and not only a great educator, but his books on glaze chemistry and form and function are basically the potter's bible.   I have 2 of his books!  So to say i was excited to finally visit his potter is an understatement.   His wife, Judi Dyelle is still making stunning porcelain pots and continues to keep the pottery running!   We spent a lovely time visiting with Judi who was very informative .... and we both left with a couple of beautiful pots.   I got a stunning bowl and a new mug!   Morgan got a beautiful bowl also and we bought one for Bronwyn!

They are still in hospital...having the final (hopefully) test this afternoon and then home this evening...fingers crossed
