Regent's Canal

Today fellow Blipper W and I walked along the Regent's Canal from Camden Lock to Victoria Park. It was a very interesting walk with all sorts of architecture, various sized barges, modern art and lots of junk that had been dredged from the canal bed!
As we approached Islington there is no towpath just a tunnel for the narrowboats. The tunnel is 960 yards and is the longest such tunnel in London. Walkers and cyclists wishing to follow the tunnel are helped by a trail of waymarkers which have been set into the pavements above.
