The other side of last night

This morning on my walk to the office I was mostly looking down because the path was so icy. But as I neared the building I chanced to look up. It was worth it.

The sky was as clear as glass. The moon with its crescent shape delicately  positioned. Then I looked down and to the right and Venus was sparkling in its place. What a glorious sight.

This against the background of black to blue to orange sky.

I gotta look up more often.
