Anne's Daily Encounters

A little treasure

Due to works on the road the cycling path too makes a D-tour and thus I passed by from this man who's hammering 125 years old bricks out from a wee wall. The wall was found by workmen and being forced into pension he enjoys hanging out with the new and temporily workforce who handed him this small wall after they'd found it on his old premisses.

His greenhouse warehouses were demolished 2 years ago like those of his neighbours and colleagues; now the waste land is being prepaired for the building of new apartments ~the economic crisis does make it all a bit of a hazardous enterprise, but those plans were made 2 decades ago in booming times, so they roll on none the less.
