Robertson Point Lighthouse

Set off early to walk from Taronga Zoo Wharf to Cremorne Point around the harbour. It’s part of the 80km Bondi to Manly walk, and one of the best sections, although last time was at the height of the summer bushfires under a red sky. 

The lighthouse is at the end of Cremorne Point, a former pleasure ground known for “riotous behaviour” in the 1880s.

We had planned to trek on, but after MacCullum Pool (wonky-looking extra) we cheated and caught an Uber to Kirribilli for a relatively sedate lunch.
