Friday's painting...

...Cat left me alone this morning for his favourite hobby of radiator hugging. So I decided on a painting. I am writing out some postcards for my postcrossing activities, and I don't want to send some of them off. I want to keep them!

So this one was of Pontcysylite Aqueduct Llangollen, and the original postcard I used for inspiration, is going to Russia.

It's taken me an hour and a half. I got too engrossed again.

It is in Procreate. And I was experimenting with a couple of new brush strokes. 



I have driven down into Welsh valleys and rainy stormy days, and then the sunlight suddenly comes out and just lights up just a few small fields or areas of grass with this golden yellow green. That was what I was trying to get with the aqueduct.
