Flowers in the Snow

Snow, snow, sleet sleet snow
Slippery - mind how you go
Hood, boots and mittens.

Just before lunchtime, it started to snow, big fluffy flakes which covered the rooftops and the grass. As soon as the snow diminished, I picked three Gaillardia flowers blooming on my balcony - to take them for a walk and place them in the snow! The snow turned to sleet and then to very wet snow, almost rain.   Anyway, I got out for some fresh air!

The flowers were quite happy and as soon as I returned home, I put them in a little bowl of water!
