Poppy Bud

December seems very late in the year for this poppy to be in bud. There are a couple in the garden at the same stage and I wonder if they will manage to flower. Just goes to show how mild the weather is up here in what some refer to as the 'Frozen North'.

It's been a busy day - a zoom meeting; an appointment and typing up minutes of an earlier meeting. I will be glad to put my feet up once we have had our dinner. It's Friday so we can have a glass of wine - hooray.
