Water pony

Today's walk: the Wolverton Flood Plane Forest Nature Reserve. This is one of  the wild Connick Ponies (or Polish Primitive Horses) that live on the reserve. They thrive in marshy, wet conditions - they don't suffer from hoof rot.

The extra shows some of the other ponies wading and grazing.
