Roses

I felt a bit better about today.  There was some brightness, though still a bit damp.  I managed to get through a few things on my to-do list which was good.

Martyn arrived this afternoon to have a look at the back gate, which he's fixed but unfortunately the washing machine is playing up, insomuch as the door will not open, a bit difficult as we'd just done a wash in it.  There appears to be various solutions on YouTube.

We went for a late afternoon walk to Shottery where I tried to photo one or two of the remaining roses in Anne Hathaway's garden.  This is the best of a not very good batch, but it's all I have for today's Flower Friday hosted, as ever, by Biker Bear.
