I am lucky to own one of the most beautiful scarves in the world (last least, I think so) embroidered in South Asia. I bought it in the Oxfam HQ foyer when I was volunteering there 15 years ago to replace an even more finely embroidered scarf which I had bought in South Asia and which, distressingly, had been eaten by moths.
I should have dealt more effectively with the moths. I really should.
Today I went with my favourite embroiderer to buy the threads to repair the replacement.
