Outside the front door

I promised myself today's blip would be outside and in daylight - so here it is. I had spent 20 minutes in the garden practising my "wide aperture close ups with fuzzy background" but although I think I managed from a technical point of view - I had two issues - 1) not enough contrast between the subject and the background (it is all a bit brown in the garden just now!) and 2) failing to hold my camera steady enough - leading to blurred subject and blurred background. Will need to get the tripod out. So snapped this on automatic on my way back in and decided it was the best of a decidedly ropey bunch!
