Walking restrictions

The weather has been so wet that we've started walking Jess around the village on the pavement rather than slipping around muddy waterlogged fields.   Jess will find the water anyway and would have swum in the overfull river given half a chance.

Have brought the Christmas tree inside and am planning to enthuse Sam with the decoration of it tomorrow.  However his taste is more sophisticated than mine and we may have to go white continuous fairy lights as opposed to multi-coloured flashers if he's involved...
