We'd decided the day before that we'd go to Windsor on Saturday. Good job too, I think the weather would have put us off doing anything. It snowrained all the way there, and carried on for most of the day.

We started with a cappuccino and croissant in Monty's. I was reading the paper when I heard a loud clunk, and looked up to see my mother picking up her camera - which she'd dropped in her coffee. Thankfully it had only permeated the foam layer before she caught it... but there was embarrassing giggling for a good 5 minutes while she attempted to de-froth it with a tiny napkin.

Spent the afternoon looking in charity shops, buying books and jumpers and shoes. We also walked along the river and back into Eton. Blimey that was chilly.
