Freshly cut

This afternoon we bought our Christmas tree from the farmer family in the next village. They had a busy morning with many clients, but we were alone most of the time and had a nice chat with them. What we didn‘t realise, is that the new Covid regulations (shops and restaurants closing at 7 pm) also applies to self-service farm shops. Although in their selling room only one person at the same time is allowed, they will have to close it at 7 pm and we have to think about it, as we often pass there on the way home after work to buy some fresh food.
