Oh Christmas tree oh Christmas tree

We put up our Christmas tree last weekend. The man across the road sells trees and so we walked over and chose one and carried it home, all week there has been a wonderful smell of pine. We wouldn't normally get one so early but as it is going to be a different kind of 'do' this year we, along with lots of other people, have chosen to give ourselves a bit of cheer in the form of an early tree.
We decorate our tree with mementos of countries we have lived in or visited and so can think of friends abroad as we hang them up (the decorations, not the friends Ian).
