Glass in Ice

Yet more seaglass hunting today. It's been very cold (high winds) these last couple of days but I was still surprised to see that all the rockpools had frozen over.

There was also some frozen seaweed (Flickr) courtesy of a dripping drainage pipe at the rear of the beach.

Had a minor disaster later: Bag split and spilt my seaglass all over the pavement, and then I managed to cut myself on a broken piece when trying to gather it up. Only a tiny cut but it was a bit slow to clot (Mum says I've inherited her thin blood). Is fine now.
