My old mate, Rudolf

I always know Xmas is near when Rudolf starts appearing around the place.

We had a 5th birthday lunch / early Xmas with the grand- boys and their parents today. Before lunch everyone played pass the parcel. The Sparrow was in charge of the music.

Strangely the boys won the parcels with toy cars in them and their parent won a parcel with chocolates in it. I won nothing! I’d say it was rigged, but don’t want to be likened to Donald Duck!

Afterwards the boys decorated some little Xmas trees with tinsel and stickers.

When everyone had left, I saw Rudolf lurking with some balloons amongst the trees.

Xmas must be soon!
