On guard..

Oh dear - Trying to raise your chicks on the ground doesn't seem the best choice. We wondered if the nest had fallen out of a tree but we couldn't see a nest and two eggs very close by don't appear to have fallen from anywhere.  Not sure that their chances of survival are very high but let's hope they beat the odds.
