It was pretty dark by the time we finished. My regular partner is receiving treatment for a bad back and he only managed 9 holes leaving me to take on the other pairing in our winter league match. At least I managed to stretch the match out to the 18th hole when I lost  1 down. Post match interview:  "we would have won with a full team"
I'd had a good morning at the car showroom looking to buy a new and more eco friendly version of my existing car. They have no test cars available yet but they allowed me to put 6 miles on a new car with trade plates. Pleased with the drive and the new tech in the car we proceeded to the negotiation stage. Unfortunately there are no cars with the spec I want available so it will be a 3 to 4 month wait. I also need competitive quotes because that salesman wasn't reducing the numbers by very much.
